CHAPTER TWO

“What is this Aaron?” asked an angry Jacob Foster, Aaron Foster's father, while forwarding the papers which he discovered in Aaron's room.

Aaron replied with a blank expression “My admission form for Moral Medical University” His plain answer acted as fuel for raising the anger of Jacob.

“How can you apply for Medical University without taking my permission?” Aaron heard his father's annoying voice.

Aaron came up with a reply to his father, but he was interrupted by Jacob.

“And, you expect me to sign these papers?” asked Jacob while throwing the papers.

“Yes, ” Aaron gave a simple answer.

“No, I already enrolled your name in the business school.

You have to enter a business school to handle our business” declared Jacob.

“But, I am not interested in business school.

I want to join a medical university” countered Aaron with determination.

Aaron Foster is an eighteen years old guy.

He is an excellent student when it comes to studies and an introverted person to strangers. His dream became to be a doctor because of some incidents in his life.

Jacob Foster, Aaron's Father. He is a Businessman. He is a greedy person and can do anything for his business to gain profits.

Aaron's mother got divorced from his father not able to stand his greediness.

After their divorce, Aaron's relationship with his father became thinner with passing years.

Jacob got shocked by Aaron's determination. He never saw him this much serious till now or you can say he never had a proper conversation with his son to know the normal behavior of his son.

Suddenly, he realized the purpose he came in search of his son with that,

an idea popped in his mind to make his work easier.

“How are you going to enter University without the Guardian's signature?” asked Jacob with a slight smirk.

Aaron got confused with his sudden change in behaviour, and he has no answer for him.

Seeing his blank face Jacob knew he hit the right bird.

“I will sign this form and also will allow you to study Medicine as per your wish but...” he stopped in mid-sentence.

Aaron stayed silent knowing that his next words possibly not the words he would like to listen.

“What is it?” asked Aaron with folded hands.

“You have to get married” Jacob completed his sentence shocking Aaron to the core.

Aaron for a moment thought he misheard his father but seeing his serious expression's he knew that he heard right.

“Are you serious?

You want me to get married at this age?” asked an utterly shocked Aaron.

“Yes, It is early for you to get married nevertheless, you have to get married at one point then why not now?” asked Jacob.

“Why do you want me to get married?” asked Aaron without giving any reply to his father's question.

“Recently, Our company signed a big deal with Smith Cooperation.

My business partner Kevin Smith and I decided to get our children married to establish trust between us” replied Jacob simply making Aaron angered.

“I don't know whatever your reason is I am not going to get married” declared Aaron.

“Then, I am not going to sign your admission form” countered Jacob, making Aaron speechless.

Aaron stood there speechless by his father's decision.

“If you want to follow your dream then get ready for marriage.

Your wedding will be held next week” declared Jacob and walked away without caring to hear his answer.

Aaron and his father never get along with each other. Jacob got his custody using his money in the name of raising his son with proper needs when his parents got divorced.

He was only eight years when they got divorced and from that moment Jacob never allowed him to meet his mother. This became another reason for Aaron to become distant from his father.

Aaron punched the nearby wall in anger not knowing what to do he dialed his best friend's number, Gavin Moran and asked him to meet at their meeting spot.

Aaron was waiting for Gavin at the playground near their high school.

Gavin Moran is Aaron's best friend. They are together from middle school.

Their relationship is just like brothers. They tend to share their happiness and worries with each other.

Aaron may be an introvert person for others but with Gavin, he becomes completely extroverted.

They are like branches of one tree. They may be different, but they tend to take support from each other.

“Hey, Why did you call me out of nowhere?” asked Gavin, the next moment he spotted Aaron.

“My father prepared a special surprise for me which can ruin my life” replied Aaron.

“What is it?

Did he come to know about your plan to study Medicine?” asked Gavin.

Aaron nodded his head in reply.

“What!

What did he say?” asked a curious Gavin.

“He declared my marriage date” replied Aaron.

“What!” shouted an utterly shocked Gavin.

“What did you say?

You are joking, right?” asked Gavin.

“Do you think I will joke around about my marriage that too at this age?” asked Aaron with a serious expression.

“Mr Jacob Foster came with a perfect plan to complete his work.

If I want to study medicine I have to marry the girl he selected for me and that to next week.

Who gets married at this age and that to arrange one?” Aaron let out his frustration.

The next moment shocked Gavin burst into laughter.

Aaron's serious expressions turned into sternness by his laughter.

“What is there to laugh?” asked Aaron sternly.

“Who is the girl?” asked Gavin.

“Are you serious?

Is it important now?” asked Aaron.

“Yes, For me it is the most important matter. I want to meet my best friend's wife before he gets married.

I thought it might happen after ten years but to my surprise, your father arranged it now itself” replied Gavin by placing his hand on Aaron's shoulder.

One single glance of Aaron. He removed his hand and stopped laughing.

“Ok, I am sorry.

It was my fault.

What do you want me to do?” asked Gavin.

“Find a way to get my father's signature on the admission form without getting married” demanded Aaron.

“Aaron, Don't you think you are demanding too much from to be a university student?” commented Gavin.

“How can I match your father's level of thinking?” added Gavin.

“Yes, You're right.

I don't know what I should do to escape from this situation?” asked Aaron.

Gavin felt bad seeing his friend struggling to escape from his father's plans.

“Why don't you ask that girl to call off the wedding?

If she doesn't want to get married to you then your father can't force you” replied Gavin with the idea his brain came up.

Aaron thought his idea was not bad.

“I can count on your brain in an emergency situation” commented Aaron.

“What do you mean in an emergency situation? It works the same all-time” argued Gavin.

“But, not better than mine” countered Aaron with a smirk.

“Mr Topper don't forget.

I am also going to attend MMU with you” said Gavin.

“Yes, I know.

Now I have to talk with that girl” said Aaron while thinking about the ways to approach that unknown girl.

“When are you going to go meet her?” asked Gavin.

“Tomorrow, I have to attend dinner at their place,” replied Aaron.

“But, What are you going to do if she is also forced by his father to get married?” asked Gavin.

This question made Aaron think it might be possible.

“I don't know but one thing I am sure of is I have to study medicine.

If It is at the cost of marriage then be it be” replied Aaron.

Gavin hugged him showing his support.

While they were busy in their conversation they heard some sounds from the other side of the playground.

“Did you hear those sounds?” asked Aaron.

“Yes, It sounded like someone was crying” replied Gavin.

“Let's check,” said Aaron.

Gavin nodded and followed him to the place from where they heard the sounds.

Reaching the place they found out that the crying sound was from a high school student who was being bullied by a person whose back was facing them.

“Hey, What are you doing over there?” shouted Aaron gaining the attention of both the persons.

The person who was bullying got distracted by Aaron. Taking this as a chance the person who was being bullied ran out of that place.

“You are never going to change” They heard that person's voice.

He was facing his back towards them.

They got confused by his statement and suddenly they felt his voice familiar.

“Who are you?

Let us see your face” asked Gavin moving towards him.

That person turned towards them with a smirk on his face.

“Are you eager to see me?” commented that person.

“Maxwell” let out Gavin and Aaron at the same time.

“Yes, Long time no see and

You Aaron why do you always mingle in my works?” asked Maxwell.

“I will not mingle if you do the right things” countered Aaron sternly.

“Ohh, You became more aggressive than last year” commented Maxwell.

“Let's go, Gavin,” said Aaron, ignoring his comment.

Maxwell Cooper is a high school senior of Aaron and Gavin.

He is a bully back in school also and Aaron was the one who complained about him to lectures while others were frightened by him from that time Maxwell held a grudge against Aaron and was waiting for the perfect time to avenge him.

“I heard you are going to attend MUU.

I will be waiting for you” said Maxwell with a smirk and walked away.

“What did he mean?” asked a confused Aaron.

“I don't know.

Leave him, You have a bigger problem to handle” replied Gavin.

Aaron nodded.
